Hanover Airport Advisory Committee

Purpose:To provide citizen input regarding the management and operation of the Hanover County Airport.

Scope:

The committee serves to illuminate the needs of the aviation community and relationship with the broader community. Provide feedback on relationships with the Fixed Based Operator (FBO). Review and recommend planning activities, monitor aviation issues locally, regionally and nationally and make recommendations on priorities for operational, maintenance and development activities associated with airport operations.

One elected official, seven citizen members appointed by magisterial district, one at-large member, one staff representative (Airport Manager), one staff representative alternate (Director of Public Works)
